I am attending the Jaipur Lit Fest once again. The Tickets were booked way back in Nov and calls made to friends to check who will attend. This was more planning than anticipation as the Fest is getting very big and crowded.
December is the season for music,dance,visitors,get togethers. A hectic month of scrambling from routine chores to great art and then navigating lock jam traffic. Winging across Chennai to see Charishnu or watch Valli or enjoy the Assamese version of Charandas Chor was a constant high of anticipation. How rewarding will be the experience?
The verse says " Oh my beloved in this moment of perfect beauty and love, stay in the moment ; do not get excited with the anticipation of what is to follow! It will only give rise to desire for what is to come and we will have lost the perfection of this moment."
How much is lost in anticipation of what is to come ;how blinded i am to the uniquesness of the present.
Stay with the moment, play with the anticipation !
